In the arena, Kevin Owens is sitting in the ring, illuminated by a spotlight.
“Why does Kevin Owens think he’s gonna walk out of Fastlane as Universal Champion?”
If somebody had told him when he was 15 that he was gonna defend his title in the main event of a pay-per-view against Goldberg.
The crowd chants for Bill and Kev acknowledges them, saying that the chant makes Goldberg feel invincible, makes him think everyone believes the hype. But Owens doesn’t, in fact, he never believed the hype. Even when he was a kid and Goldberg was on a tear through WCW, he didn’t care.
At Fastlane, Kevin Owens is going to show Goldberg, his son, his wife, and everybody else, that superheroes don’t exist.
As far as Chris Jericho goes– “Y2J!” chants break out and Owens simply drops the mic and walks off.
