Tumhari Sulu had opened to around 15% occupancy on the Opening Day. The film’s entertaining trailer had created a good buzz and with the positive reviews flowing in we will expect a good income.

On the Second Day, we can expect more occupancy as this is a holiday and it will rise in number both in the collection and also in a number of people.

Tumhari Sulu is an Indian comedy-drama film, directed by the noted ad film-maker Suresh Triveni and produced under the banners of T-Series and Ellipsis Entertainment.

Vidya Balan (Sulochana a.k.a. Sulu) essays the role of a night radio jockey in Mumbai. The film stars ace theatre actor Manav Kaul as Vidya Balan’s husband, Neha Dhupia as Vidya’s Boss, and renowned RJ, Malishka, as Albeli Anjali.

The plot of the film a happy-go-lucky Mumbai suburban housewife Sulochana, fondly known as Sulu, lands herself in the role of a night RJ, resulting in drastic changes to her routine life.

The film is a slice-of-life story but will ultimately be about the choice Sulu has to make to maintain work-life balance.
